I have been coming here for ages, dont understand why the rating is not as high as it should be. I highly recommend the steak and chips. Chargrilled to perfection!

my go to order is meat and chips, It is hard to find a good kebab place. I have eaten quite a few kebab places around SE9 area and some places i find the doner either to dry, too thin or small portion or not enough salad and they charge you an arm and a leg Or you have to pay salad separately. I've used Eltham kebab express a few times now (because there isn't much good ones on well hall road) and found the portion size was decent, small was enough for me but if you are hungry you can opt for med or large. I once got med as my eyes is bigger than my stomach and it was abit too much for me. I must admit the doner meat could have been cut thicker to have that think piece of meat but it wasn't thin. It was in between. Their salad portion was good, its piled high in the box. The chips was cooked lovely, not dry, soft and fluffy, love their homemade warm chilli sauce and its got a GOOD kick to it. I even got myself a soft yet tasty choc fudge cake here. I highly recommend this place, its decent, good price and lovely staff. I've attached lots of photos for you to see. I’m not usually a meat type of person but I decided to give them a go since I saw they changed their appearance recently. Their sauces tasted fresh unlike other places in the area and the food was prepared quickly too. Their portions are massive for the price that they sell it for and they’re quite generous with whatever toppings you ask for with your meal.
